A variable illustration system
the illustration style follows the brand’s motto (’make it your way’) as well as the font’s variable styles. Conveying the boundless freedom through a certain versatility in the shapes and proportions of the illustrations and iconography. Providing a lot of possibilities, and fun in creation.

Basing the visual system on the brand identity ‘s versatility and playfulness. the illustration style follows the font’s variable style. Keeping the perspective as a constant only, to allow all of them to live in compositions, and give complete freedom on the rest. Like the font, one item will have variables that can be regular, compressed, wide, extended, italic…
Icons, glyphs, labels
Icons are used as standalone for straightforward messaging. We combine icons, glyphs and labels whenever there is a need for more complex storytelling, or when we use them with pictures.
Can be used as ‘stickers’, illustrations or patterns. Allows visibility at all times. combining as many as needed.
Guidelines and library: brandbook
Creation of a brandbook with strong yet very flexible guidelines to play around with the identity and system. Teaching how to compose new illustrations from the library provided as well as how to create new items within the same family to Printify’s internal team.
